French Professor: My students came to China — None regretted it!

Jean-François Vergnaud has spent nearly 18 years living in China. He has not only embraced life in China but has also made it his mission to bridge the gap between France and China, encouraging more French students to experience the opportunities this country offers.
Vergnaud first arrived in China in 2007, but his relationship with China began much earlier. In his twenties, he started learning Chinese through The Analects and Mencius, diving deep into Chinese culture.
Now, as the French Representative of Sino-French Institute, RUC, Vergnaud is dedicated to building greater China-France relations through education.
For Vergnaud, true cultural exchange is mutual — he hopes not only for more French students to study in China but also for more Chinese students to study in France, fostering deeper understanding between the two nations.
